The year 2016 begins with the release of Cecile Kayirebwa's new album URUKUMBUZI, it is distributed by the digital label AFRO URBAN MOVEMENT.

URUKUMBUZI was recorded between Kigali and Brussels where the artist surrounded herself with young minds of creative, technicians, musicians and singers, all Rwandan.

With URUKUMBUZI, Cecile Kayirebwa continues her crusade to protect Rwanda's traditional music and reaffirms the importance of passing on this cultural heritage to new generations.

2016 débute avec son nouvel album URUKUMBUZI sorti en digital avec la distribution du label digitale AFRO URBAN MOVEMENT.

Enregistré entre Kigali et Bruxelles où l'artiste s'est entourée d'une équipe creative et technique composée de jeunes techniciens, musiciens, choristes et autres génies rwandais tel qu'elle a souhaité faire depuis longtemps.

Avec URUKUMBUZI, Cécile Kayirebwa se relance fermement dans sa croisade de protection du patrimoine musical traditionnel en réaffirmant l'importance de la transmission de la culture des aïeux aux arrières petits enfants et ainsi de suite.
